Printing a form
Objective
Display one or more student forms in a format suitable for printing.
Note that a same form can be printed for multiple students.
Parameters
The printing of the form is done according to the parameters supplied on screen. These parameters are saved, for each user, from one work session to another.
Print confidential information  Used to print the confidential data and, in the case where we request that the notes attached to the data be included, the confidential notes. This parameter is not offered if the user is restricted to viewing the form.
Print notes attached to data  Used to include in the printing the notes attached to the data. The confidential notes appear only in accordance with the parameter for the printing of confidential information. The user who is restricted to viewing the form has access only to the notes that are not confidential.
Print student identification line Used to print, in the top part of the page, the student identification section as it appears in all student record screens. 
The formatting also takes into account the following print options defined au niveau du formulaire:  
Print heading This option allow to include or not the heading on the printed form.
Print section Only the sections where this option is selected in the form structure appear in the printed document.
Page break before section  A page break is generated during printing before the start of the sections where this is requested.
Security
The security rules covering the printing of the form are the same as those that apply in form viewing or modification. If the user is authorized to modify the form, they can print it, as desired, with or without the confidential information. If the user is authorized to view the form, they can print it without the confidential information. If the user is not authorized to the form, they cannot print it.
Print features
The form is generated without colour. The name is displayed in large characters inside a frame. The section titles appear with a grey background.

The command buttons and the icons that are usually found on screen are not displayed in the print context:
- Save, Undo, Standard header buttons, Add and Delete (repetitive section)
- Attach a note, Context-sensitive help, Extended selection
In the case of a repetitive section, the insertion line is not included.

Most of the data are presented inside a frame to highlight their content. The pulldown menus are transformed into simple-text zones. The various elements of an observation chart appear with a grey background.

When they are requested, the notes attached to data are presented under the data, with a grey background. The confidential notes are distinguished by a black background.

The name and the content of the form's data are displayed in their cell in accordance with their Automatic line return option (text that can appear or not over several lines if needed). Also, the display zone for each data (framed or grey background) automatically adjusts to the width of the column in which it is placed.
Actions
Produce report The Produce report command prepares and displayed the page containing student forms, ready to print.
