Memos
Objective
The Memos tab is used to manage student memos: view, add, modify, delete or enter interventions. The system takes into account the privileges in the user's memo profile. The other available tabs are: - Memos by category - Interventions on the memos
Filter
The following criteria can be used to filter the display of the student's memos:
Category	Selection of the memos according to their category. The pulldown menu proposes the description of the different memo categories (All by default).
Sub-category	Selection of the memos according to their sub-category. The pulldown menu proposes the description of the different memo sub-categories (All by default).
Since	Selection of the memos since a specific date. If the date is not specified (by default), all memos since the beginning of the year are displayed.
In addition to the filter criteria, the display of memos is restricted to the privileges granted in the user's memo profile: If there are restrictions on the grade levels and the classes, the student's memos can be displayed only if the student's grade level and class correspond to the restrictions indicated in the memo profile.   If there are restrictions on the types of access, only the memos whose security code corresponds to the authorized security codes can be displayed, except for the memos composed by other authorized personnel in the case where this is forbidden for the security code considered.
Data
The table provides an overview of the student's memos for the current year. The memos are displayed in decreasing order of date. For each of the memos, there is the following information: - Date of the memo - Security code - Memo category - Memo sub-category - Author of the memo - Date of the intervention - Intervention The Date of the intervention and Intervention data are not displayed if the "Intervention" part is not allowed in the memo profile for the security code considered. If an alert concerning the number of new memos exists for the student, the memo category is displayed in the alert colour for each of the new memos corresponding to the alert. The symbol identifies the memos that are destined to you and, if appropriate, your memos for which an intervention was done, and this as long as you have not indicated as "Seen" the alerts corresponding to these memos in your alert box. By gliding the mouse over the symbol, the appropriate explanation is displayed in a balloon help: This memo is intended for you OR An intervention was made concerning your memo
Actions
Add memo	The Add command calls up the Detail of a memo screen used to complete a new memo for the student, of the security code selected in the pulldown menu accompanying the command. Only the authorized security codes appear in the pulldown menu. The first in the list is proposed by default. The security code associated to a memo is important as it determines, as per the memo profile, the security level that will be applied by the system to the memo. Adding a memo is permitted if the student's grade level and class are authorized and if there exists a "writing" right for the memo for at least one security code (or no restrictions on the types of access) in the memo profile.
Filter memos	The  command that accompanies the filter criteria will bring the display of the memos in accordance with the values indicated.
Access memo	The  command calls up the Detail of a memo screen used to view or modify the detail of a memo.
Delete memos	The Delete command eliminates from the database the memos selected on screen. The user has the right to delete the memos of which they are the author as well as the memos composed by other personnel if the memo profile authorizes the deletion for the security code considered.
